About Matthew Smith
Matthew Smith is a lifelong resident of Northeast Iowa and a proud member of the District 63 community. He earned bachelor's degrees in history and political science at Luther College in Decorah, Class of 2025, where he also worked as an archaeological field technician. Matthew has supported grassroots campaigns at the federal level and maintains deep involvement in local efforts across the district. He is happily engaged to his fiancée, Alyssa, and is ready to serve the people of District 63 with faithfulness and principle.
